10 Reasons YOU Should Be Using Amazon Wish Lists

You will always get that special someone exactly what they want!

  • Some people aren’t easy to shop for.  You don’t have to get your father a tie every year for Father’s Day, you can get him something he really wants.  I have a brother-in-law who is constantly working on cars.  If it weren’t for his Wish List, I would have absolutely no idea what to buy him. We’ve been using the Wish Lists for a few years now, and he always gets something he actually looks forward to.
    • Why so Fabulous?
      • In the case of my brother-in-law, 90% of the time, I have little to no idea what the thing is that I actually purchase… something to do with fixing cars… if I ever attempted to buy this stuff on my own, it would turn into an epic failure… this way he gets what he wants, the right brand, the right dimensions, the right model… whatever it is, it works.

Romantic Bedroom for Under $200 —

Romantic Bedroom for Under $200

Your bedroom should be your oasis, so I set off to make ours more relaxing and more romantic.  That being said, we had VERY little room to work with…

This is what our Master Bedroom looked like before we moved in.  (Pictures courtesy of the realtor’s ad).

Master 2

Yep, that’s the whole thing.  The bed literally only fit in that exact spot.  Thank goodness we only had a full sized bed at the time.  It worked well for us though.  We didn’t have much in the way of extra funds after moving into the house, so I was able to decorate without spending too much cash.  And I really liked the outcome!

DIY – 3 Easy Steps to a Nerf Arsenal Wall —

DIY – 3 Easy Steps to a Nerf Arsenal Wall

Like most boys, Coby loves Nerf! And, so do his uncles (or should I say, the big kids).

So, we have quite the arsenal, partly due to the Nerf theme party we had for his 7th birthday, (check that out too).

I was storing all the Nerf stuff in a big basket, but that was just a pile of mess, and Coby was having trouble finding the right ammo, and because we kept the basket on a high shelf, he wasn’t really using them as much as he would if they were easily accessible.

So, I decided to make him an arsenal wall.

Step 1: Secure Nerf Guns to the Wall

All it took were Velcro Command Strips, and wall space.

DIY Kid’s Dry Erase Learning Center —

DIY Kid’s Dry Erase Learning Center

It’s important to teach kid’s organization at a young age.  It will make your daily life easier, and their’s easier in the long run.

I wanted to make a dry erase area for Coby, that would serve both as a calendar, and an area for drawing and learning.  My sons share a small room so available wall space is few and far between.

I snagged a very reasonably priced vinyl dry erase peel and stick roll from Amazon.  We live in an apartment so peel and stick is always the way to go where possible.  The great thing about purchasing a roll versus a solid board, is that you can divide it up into as many smaller boards (or various shapes) as desired.  I actually cut the roll into three separate pieces (one to be used in the kitchen – more on that later), and the other two in the boys’ room.

8 Tips to Manageable Laundry! —

8 Tips to Manageable Laundry!

Laundry is one of those necessary evils. I actually don’t mind it too much, but if you have a big family, or some messy moments, laundry can be a huge hassle.

The trick is, to stay on top of it, without getting overwhelmed… because once that happens, you’ll end up procrastinating, and it will pile up to a level that is completely unmanageable and torturous.

So what’s the trick?
